World Pipeband Championship results from Glasgow Green! Simon Fraser University pipeband took first prize. They've always been in the top ranks but this win is their first since 2001.
There were some very innovative performances. The Shotts tenors turned to face the outside of the circle then the pipers followed suit. It was a superb play with Shotts placing third overall. John Fisher's Spirit of Scotland drumming corps received the loudest crowd cheer for their creative music. Field Marshall Montgomery placed 2nd, Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia was fourth, St. Laurence O'Toole from Eire was fifth and Strathclyde was sixth. To see more,click here.
