Jackets and kilts are altered to fit, and each garment is drycleaned - not just steamed and pressed - but fully drycleaned after each use. We need measurements to ensure proper fit and a deposit books the outfit. Reserve well in advance of your event, no appointments are necessary for fittings.

What you need to complete your rental outfit are the hose, black shoes and a white dress or tuxedo shirt. Hose and ghillie brogues - the tradtional Scottish shoes - are available for purchase, not rental, as they are personal items.

Please reserve your garments early; especially from May until October when our Kilt Rentals are in high demand! We do rush bookings, however, alterations - if needed - take time!

Rental FYI
Our preference is to have you come in for a fitting, when this is impossible we will guide you through the "how-to's" of measuring. We will do our best to make your rental party look its best. Unless pre-arranged, rental pick up time is 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday. This gives everyone a chance to take the garment home and try on everything one more time before the event! Early pick up and late return can be pre-arranged for each outfit for a fee. Return of your rental garments must be before 5:00 pm Tuesday. This enables us to alter, dryclean and have the garment ready in time for the next weeks' rental party. The full rental fee will be charged at 10:00 am Wednesday if garments are late. Alterations take 3 days, so ensure all measurements or any last minute changes are in to us in plenty of time.
Security Deposit
Each outfit prior to leaving the shop must be secured with a pre-authorization on a valid credit card. The amount is a portion of the replacement cost of the garments and regalia. Please call us anytime for a quote. Debit cards, cash or cheques cannot be used for the security deposit, but are accepted as payment for the rental fee. The funds held by the pre-authorization will be used for late charges and to cover the cost of anything missing or damaged. The full cost of the outfit will be charged to the credit card if the garment is not returned. Garments need to be returned on time, complete with hanger and garment bag!
